Iran highlights ties with South Africa

TEHRAN – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has said that Iran attaches great importance to ties with South Africa.

Iran made the remarks during a meeting with South African Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa in Tehran on Sunday.
He also expressed hope that terrorism would be eradicated.
For his part, the South African official said that the two countries can expand relations after the removal of sanctions against Iran.

Ramaphosa also said that the two countries share similar position on international issues.

He also called the Iranians strong-willed who do not relinquish their position and this was proven during the nuclear talks with great powers.
